The following require annual inspection and maintenance by a qualified contractor:
- Sprinkler System
- Fire Alarm System
- Emergency Lighting & Exit Signs (Tenant Responsibilty)
- Portable Fire Extinguishers (Tenant Responsibility)
AND, Every 5 Years Sprinkler Systems require the following additional maintenance and Inspections:
- Fire Department Connection requires 5 Year Hydrostatic Test for 2 hours
- 5 Year Internal Assessment of Sprinkler Piping (visual check to see if there is debris build-up in the pipe. If so, system gets flushed)
- 5 Year Internal Inspection of the Backflow Prevention assembly (double check valve on Sprinkler intake)
- 5 Year Sprinkler Gauge Replacement
